SOZO are looking for a Shopify Developer to join our team.
Formed in 2000, SOZO is an award-winning digital agency based in Cheltenham. We are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Shopify Developer who is passionate about creating cutting-edge e-commerce solutions and delivering exceptional digital experiences.
We are a close-knit team of 30+ who share a real passion for the internet. Our staff like to push the boundaries of what is possible online and are encouraged to experiment and develop their talents within a collaborative environment.
Applicants must have at least 3+ years of commercial experience with Shopify development, including building custom apps and migrating sites from other platforms to Shopify.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong experience with Shopify theme development and customization
- Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSExperience developing custom Shopify Apps
- Knowledge of Shopify API integrationExperience with Storefront API and working with custom themes
- Knowledge of Shopify properties/objects, Meta fields, and AJAX API
- Experience migrating e-commerce sites to Shopify from other platforms
- Familiarity with Git version control system
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Nice to Have
- Experience with Remix framework
Personal Skills
- Good standard of communication, both written and verbal
- Ambition to improve constantly as a developer
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good time management
- Collaborate and work well within a close-knit team
You Will Be Responsible For
- Building and customizing Shopify stores
- Developing custom Shopify Apps
- Migrating e-commerce sites to Shopify from other platforms
- Ensuring optimal site performance and security
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Job Location: Remote
